1940s
Elegance
While we usually see lots of basic
waves and simple ponytails, the catwalks at NYC Fashion Week are also
perfect places to spot plenty of updo ideas to use on your bridal
clients anytime! One amazingly glamorous look came from the Abed Mahfouz
runway, courtesy of the UNITE team
led by Nick Pagano. Nick and the team created an
elegant, sophisticated French twist reminiscent of the 1940s. “It’s very
red carpet,” he says. “It’s very glamorous, just like the clothes.” The
team used UNITE Wicked Wax Pomade to give the hair a
bit of body so it was easier to put up. Then, to give the hair a bit of
shine and shimmer, they spritzed each model’s hair with Shina-Mist
just before they hit the catwalk. This classic, flattering style is
just the thing to complement any beautiful bridal gown this season. |
